What Google Earth accomplished for Saroo Brierley in the movie Lion, DNA research did for me. Parklander Magazine in Florida suggested in its July 2019 issue that my memoir should be made into a television series, similar to The Handmaid’s Tale.
No Stone Unturned: A Remarkable Journey To Identity is about the 44 year search for my birth parents and so much more. It is a strong character driven memoir of a child presented with numerous exceptionally challenging life experiences. Nadean battles an aggressive form of cancer, experiences a harrowing escape from a Caribbean island and suffers unbelievably great losses that would break many a spirit. Yet as one reviewer notes “She soldiers on with unfailing courage.”
I wrote No Stone Unturned: A Remarkable Journey To Identity with the intention of inspiring readers to find faith, hope and the courage to persevere against daunting personal challenges. I was born in Blind River ON, Canada, hold a BA from Windsor University, an MBA from McMaster University, a CLM – Certificate in Legal Management and a Journalism Certificate. I am a former NBC Booker and Celebrity Producer for a weekday one hour talk show in Miramar, FL.
I am proud to share my deeply personal story with the release of my book and the launch of my website. In the pursuit of my dreams, it is my wish that others are encouraged to never give up on their dreams.

Just finished reading and this book is honestly one of the best l have ever read. I could not put it down and I felt as if I was right in the moment with her. I laughed at times and I literally had tears streaming down my face at times. All the makings of a great movie and I would be first in line to buy tickets. This book is not only a story of the quest of the author to find her birth mother with the odds stacked against her. It is the life story of a courageous woman who perseveres despite many hardships, and still has the ability to love unconditionally. All of us can learn a lesson from her by reading this!

The current law in Ontario, Canada permits legally adopted children only to access their birth records. My goal is to petition the Provincial Government to amend its law to allow non-adopted children equal access to our birth records. This book is my platform for the movement!
